Events Sat. 4/14, Sun. 4/15 for Lubbock Arts Festival Performance

Below are the details for our one rehearsal and performance. *NOTE* This performance is open to current YOL members as well as perspective YOL members. Current YOL members participation is covered under their annual tuition/membership. Any student wishing to participate in the Arts Festival Rehearsal and Performance that is not enrolled in YOL from the previous season will be asked to pay a $50.00 participation fee. Saturday, April 14th
REHEARSAL: Saturday, April 14th, 1:00 – 4:00pm

Rehearsal Schedule
1:00 – 1:45pm — run program
5 minute stretch
1:50 – 2:55pm — rehearsal
5 minute stretch
3:00 – 3:45pm — run program
3:45 – 4:00pm — Strings Only on Lubbock Sunrise; Brass Quintet also practices
DETAILS for Saturday Rehearsal, April 14th
Who: YOL Philharmonic musicians and guests
When
: 1 p.m.- 4 p.m. (Arrive at 12:45 to uncase)
Where: Maggie Trejo SuperCenter, 3200 Amherst St. Lubbock, Texas 79415 in the Community Center Social Hall
Parking: Lot on East Side of Building parallel N. Gary Ave.
Enter: East Side of the building through the double doors. A YOL volunteer will direct you from there.
What to bring: A folding music stand and the following printed music: Farandole; Brahms Hungarian Dance No 5; Godzilla; The Dark Knight; Slavonic Legend; Aragonaise From “Carmen”; Lubbock Sunrise

What to get: Amber will have Wells Fargo Arts Festival Passes available to give you so that you can hand them out to friends and family, so that they can attend the performance without having to pay the additional $4 fee.

Arrive at Civic Center: 12:30 p.m.
Performance
: 1 p.m.- 2 p.m. on Pedestrian Walkway stage
Where: Civic Center  1501 Mac Davis Ln, Lubbock, TX 79401
CHECK-IN: Performers will check-in at the “Performer/Volunteer Check-in” Table located inside the North Doors of Civic Center. Here you will get your admission sticker so that you can enter without paying $4 fee. Amber will also have passes to give you so that you can hand them out to friends and family.

— We highly encourage you to prepare these pieces ahead of time in order for us to have a
smooth rehearsal on Saturday.
— Hard-copy parts will be distributed at Saturday’s rehearsal.
— All parts must be returned to the designated box after Sunday’s performance. All
missing parts will be billed to the respective student.
